At 3:23pm on Monday, March 10th, the South Salem Fire Department was called dual response to the Vista Fire District for a shed and brush fire. Upon Arrival, Vista Chief (2561) Jeff Peck reported that a roughly 4’x4’ shed was fully engulfed in fire and had started a brush fire in the surrounding wooded area. The brush fire grew to roughly 100’ x200’ in size within minutes but was quickly contained. The situation was put under control and all units were returned to service at 5:40pm.
