On Sunday, May 23rd, Members of the Department were honored to participate in a “RARE” Community Event at the Lewisboro Town Park to benefit the Salla Treatment and Research Foundation, focusing on children who suffer from Rare Childhood Genetic Disorders. Engine 167 was on hand showing off its drafting capabilities by means of a spectacular water display at the park pond. Rescue 21 was also on location giving out fire hats and fire prevention reminder stickers. Members showcased the new eDRAULIC Jaws of Life to hundreds of children throughout the afternoon.
